Probax set to Connect with Veeam Version 8

Replicating virtual backups offsite is about to get a whole lot easier, cheaper, and faster.

The Probax Platform is set to take another big step forward in it's quest to be the Cloud Backup tool of choice for Australian IT providers.
Having already integrated with ShadowProtect by StorageCraft, a range of popular NAS devices, File/Exchange/SQL backup software and Veeam version 7, the integration with Veeam V8 will be another feather in the cap for the developers, Corporate Backup. The Probax Platform already stores, manages, recovers and reports on these backup types, and is run on infrastructure in Perth and Melbourne.

"We're excited about the feature set version 8 brings to the table" said Corporate Backup MD, Kevin Allan.
"The Australian IT channel is all too aware of the fact that simply moving terabytes of backup data from one place to another is not a point and click exercise. By connecting our Probax Platform to the new cloud-friendly Veeam features, keeping our wholesale storage rates incredibly low and ensuring that every connection gets the most possible bandwidth, we can work with resellers to push their virtual backups to the cloud" said Mr Allan.

In partnership with NextDC, Comscentre and Veeam, Corporate Backup are well-placed to offer the Australian IT industry a cost effective, robust and local solution to service providers wanting to backup virtual environments to the cloud.
